WorldView  East Africa: Counting the Cost

Seven brothers in Christ. One purpose: to see the name of Jesus glorified among their people, regardless of the consequences. They've endured rejection, kidnappings, and even the death of a loved one for the sake of the gospel, but God is on their side and has only just begun His work among them.

WorldView France: A Pre-Christian Nation

It's been over 200 years since the French Revolution and what historians call the "dechristianization" of France. Since then, the nation has been ground zero for secularism. But Assemblies of God pastors say a new day for their country is on the horizon. With churches expanding at a rapid rate, it's clear that God's work in France has only just begun.

Television Reel

During my time as a journalist in Washington, D.C., I did a number of television appearances. Here, you'll find clips of just a few of those opportunities.

USA TODAY:
Not a single 2020 candidate is active on TikTok. What gives?

At the time this article was published in 2019, TikTok was Gen Z's second-favorite social media platform, with its usership growing exponentially every day. And yet, not a single 2020 hopeful — either Republican or Democrat — was actively using it. In this article, I discuss the advantages and disadvantages of that strategy.

Washington Examiner: California campaign circus: Newsom rival hits road with live bear

During a 2021 campaign event, California Republican Gubernatorial candidate, John Cox, made an appearance with a live bear, saying he was "beastly" enough to make change in the state.

WorldView Ukraine: A Storehouse of Hope

Obeying the call of God to be "servants of all," Pentecostals in Poland have mobilized to provide food, clothing, shelter, and other necessities to Ukrainian refugees. Amid death, suffering, and displacement, the people of God have been undeterred.

Pop and Locke:
Little Women

Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women has mattered deeply to generations of women ever since it was first published in two volumes in 1868 and 1869. In director Greta Gerwig's recent adaptation of this classic, many themes are brought to the fore. We discuss those themes and more in this episode of Pop and Locke.

AG News:
Safe Harbor Home

After pastoring Oak Park Christian Center in Pleasant Hill, California, for 42 years, ordained Assemblies of God minister Bill H. Mathews and his wife, Lynette, opened Safe Harbor Homes & Services. The nonprofit ministry is designed to offer a Christ-centered home in a loving, caring environment for adults with special needs.

Washington Examiner:
Interview with face of Hong Kong protests

For this article, I got to interview Joshua Wong, the face of the Hong Kong protests who was imprisoned not long after our conversation. When we spoke, he expressed fear that he was being followed by the authorities.

Continental Theological Seminary: Honoring the past. Preparing for the future.

Many have disregarded Europe as a continent hardened to the truth of the gospel and beyond hope of saving. Others see a brighter future ahead. Four alumni of Continental Theological Seminary, equipped by the education they received there, are ready to help bring about the next great move of God among their nations.
